Cancer is a menace. And like you we hate it too from the bottom of our hearts. Hence our constant endeavour to ensure that it doesn’t bother you! Unfortunately it can occur in any part of the female reproductive system–including the cervix, uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, vagina and vulva. These cancers are called gynecologic cancers. Our Gynecologic Oncologists provide the most scientifically advanced treatment to women diagnosed with or suspected to have any form of gynaecological cancer or precancer. Also, we understand the fear and uncertainty a diagnosis of cancer can bring thus, we have a very dedicated and supportive team of highly qualified experts who specialise in cancer care and completely understands the medical and emotional needs a patient requires when undergoing cancer treatment.

Cervical Cancer

Cervical cancer is a type of cancer that occurs in the cells of the cervix, which connects the uterus and vagina. Certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV) and increased age are the main cause of cervical cancer.

Endometrial Cancer

Endometrial cancer occurs in the uterus, sometimes called uterine cancer. It begins when cells in the endometrium (the inner lining of the uterus) grow out of control. Treatment of endometrial cancer often requires only surgery, but may sometimes require radiation, chemotherapy, and hormonal therapy.

Ovarian cancer

Ovarian cancer is the growth of cells that form in the ovaries. The cells multiply rapidly and attack and destroy healthy body tissue. These cancer cells can grow out of control quickly and spread over weeks or months. Women aged 55-64 have the highest risk of developing ovarian cancer.

Vaginal cancer

Vaginal cancer is rare cancer that occurs in your vagina. Older age and HPV infection are risk factors for vaginal cancer. Signs and symptoms of vaginal cancer include pain or unusual vaginal bleeding.

Vulvar cancer

Vulvar cancer is a type of cancer that occurs on the outer surface of the female genitalia. The vulva is the area of skin that looks different from normal and surrounds the urethra. A lump that may be red, pink, or white and may have a wart-like or rough surface or feel rough or thick. If your cancer is in its early stages, it is often possible to get rid of it completely.

Benign surgery

Benign tumors are non-cancerous growths in the body. They are rarely cancerous, but fibroid surgery may be necessary to correct symptoms. Benign surgery is the main treatment for non-cancerous brain tumors. The aim is to remove as much of the tumor as safely as possible without damaging the surrounding area.
