Vaginal Hysterectomy

Vaginal hysterectomy is a surgical procedure to treat certain gynecological conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, adenomyosis, gynecological cancers, abnormal uterine bleeding and chronic pelvic pain. This is a procedure to remove the uterus (womb) and cervix (the neck of your womb) through your vagina. A hysterectomy can treat or improve your symptoms, after which you will not have periods.
